At 95 years old, Mike isn’t just exercising. He’s inspiring.
Trainer Robert Haddocks, who’s in his late 50s and no stranger to longevity himself, recently posted a heartfelt birthday. “My client, my friend, my inspiration, my idol — in many ways,” Rob wrote. “This playful joker turns 95 today. Yes, I said 95!”
Mike’s movement is nothing short of remarkable. “He moves better than people half his age,” Rob says. That didn’t happen by accident. Mike shows up consistently, practices what he learns, and pushes himself to improve, sometimes so much that Rob has to rein him in.
It’s a powerful reminder that fitness after 50 — after 90! — isn’t about limitations. It’s about possibilities.
Physical activity remains one of the best tools we have to age well. It supports balance, bone density, heart health, and independence. But equally important are the emotional and mental benefits. Staying active can build confidence, foster connection, and bring joy.
And Mike embodies all of it. “While I could go on about all of his physical attributes,” Rob adds, “they are exceeded by his qualities as a kind, giving, loving man.”
Here’s to Mike for showing what’s possible when you combine movement with mindset. And here’s to Robert, for helping people thrive through every decade of life.
How well do you want to move and enjoy life in your 90s? The choice is yours!
