A Fitness Trainer Program from a Company That "Gets" It

In 2002, certified personal trainer Holly Kouvo had a vision: to create an independent personal training company that taught clients innovative ways to fit exercise into their daily lives. This might mean showing a busy working mom how to do arm curls with a gallon of milk while waiting in line at the grocery store or having a traveling businessman pack—and use—exercise bands in his hotel room.

Holly’s philosophy differed from the traditional “create-a-standard-routine-for-the-gym” mantra. But as a busy working mom herself, she knew her style was much more likely to work in the short and long run.

Holly was right. Over the years, her personal training business flourished with many happy and successful clients who’ve learned how to fit fitness into their daily lives. Her weight-loss clinics and Jump Start boot camps are always in high demand, she has a popular series of exercise DVDs, and she now has additional personal trainers who help carry on the “fitting fitness in” mission.

Holly Kouvo, Owner, Certified Personal TrainerHolly Kouvo & Nutrition Specialist

 A lover of fitness all her life, Holly Kouvo is a certified personal trainer and aerobics instructor through the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA). Holly has taught aerobics at various clubs over the past 22 years and has been working as a personal trainer for eight years. In addition, she’s a certified nutrition specialist with American Academy of Sports Dietitians and Nutritionists (AASDN)

 

Holly started her own personal training company when, after 18 years in the high-tech industry, she decided to change careers and pursue her passion: helping people fit fitness into their lives. She also coaches people on eating better and enjoys watching her clients experience the benefits of doing both. Holly has great success working with clients who want to lose a lot of weight, including triple digits. Her constant motivation and goal setting is what gets clients to their ultimate weight-loss goal and keeps them there.
Holly is a member of IDEA Fitness, Business Networking International, and the Be Better Program, a group of fitness professionals who are mentoring others to raise the level of professionalism and success of personal trainers in North America. She has been featured in IDEA Fitness Journal, Sudbury Town Crier, The MetroWest Daily News, The Stow Paper, The Groton Herald, and The Westford Eagle.

Holly has published articles in several national magazines, including American Fitness and IDEA Fitness Journal, and she has been a regular contributor to the Body/Fitness pillar on Eons.com and their sister website RealForMe.com. She released her first exercise DVD called “Total Body Workout…Just Easy on The Knees™” in the fall of 2006. In addition, she has a weekly radio spot—“Holly’s Helpful Hints”—on Career/Life Radio (WNRI.com). She speaks regularly on topics pertaining to health, fitness, nutrition, and weight loss.

Holly makes her home in Stow, Mass., with her husband, Steve, and their two daughters.
 

Kristen Luna, Certified Personal Trainer & Nutrition Specialist 

Kristen Luna

Kristen Luna is an Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) certified personal trainer and group exercise instructor. She’s also a certified nutrition specialist with American Academy of Sports Dietitians and Nutritionists (AASDN)   and holds certifications as a Schwinn Indoor Cycling Instructor and Silver Sneakers Instructor.  She earned an Associate of Science Degree at Becker College and is certified in CPR and first aid. Recently, she’s been teaching a variety of senior classes at the YMCA.

 

Being a mother of twin girls, Kristen truly understands the importance of trying to balance work and family as well as finding time for fitness. Kristen believes in having fun while working out. If you set realistic goals, work hard, and stay motivated, you can achieve anything.

 

In her free time, Kristen enjoys hiking, power walking, step aerobics, and spending time with family and friends.

Lorae McCall, Certified Personal Trainer & Nutrition Specialist  

Lorae McCallLorae McCall is an Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) certified personal trainer, certified nutrition specialist with American Academy of Sports Dietitians and Nutritionists (AASDN), and a “Mad Dogg” certified Spinning instructor. She has been working as a personal trainer and teaching muscle strengthening and spinning classes for several years.

Lorae believes that a regular fitness routine and healthful eating habits can help people of any age or fitness level improve their overall health, wellness, and quality of life. She enjoys working with people who want to make a change in their health or approach to exercise. Lorae likes to help clients set up an individualized exercise program based on their goals and how it will fit in with their lifestyle and interests. 

 

As a working mother of three boys, she understands the challenge of balancing exercise with the other responsibilities that people have in their lives. In her free time, Lorae enjoys competing in triathlons.
